Default M90 Shakedown Runs

First time to the track with the m90. Running a conservative jdm tune. Wasn't looking for super fast runs, just wanted to get a feel for the new power and make sure everything was safe. All runs showed WOT wideband readings of 12.0-12.4. Ran with ET streets at 25 psi. Did not load the converter at the line just floored it at green.

DA 1253
Best run 12.41@113.05. 60ft 1.97
Next best. 12.42@112.78. 60ft 1.96

Car pulls really hard middle track, it's a blast to drive. No spin out of the hole and a good size scratch into second. Ran a srt/8 chally, he spun hard out the gate ran a high 13. I ran a 12.57.......beat down on him hard....it was fun. He normally runs high 12's. It was sorta a grudge match.....he gave me **** when I bought the mustang. Lol

A great day at the track. Car is so much fun to drive. I will post some video later, waiting for it to be emailed to me.

I think that is damn impressive

Went from 13.1 N/A to a 12.4 boosted without trans braking

Could probably see 12.1 with aggressive tuning and a better launch. His car will easily eat 99% of the 2011's floating around already

Sounds good man. Want to see that vid

??

lol yeah.. considering its a 4v , dual over head cams, higher compression, a larger displacement, 6 speed auto and about 400+ whp with minor mods rofl

Those are some great numbers 808! With a more aggressive tune and the 500hp kit, you'll easily be in the 11s!

That's what I am thinking. There is a lot more. Don't forget the DA always sucks here. Maui is NOT like those east coast tracks.

I emailed my friend, still waiting for the video. I have a short one on my droid phone but it won't let me email it. Too big?

Thanks for support guys......that's why I dig this site. I'll get that vid.

Longer burnout-around 50-60 mph on your speedo until you see good smoke.

Power brake a little bit and you should get a 1.7 60' and take .5-.6 off of your ET.

Car does sound really flat when it goes into 4th on the shift. Could be the tranny locking up or in the tune. DOn't know enough about the auto trannies to say.

Good runs for sure.

You have an 11 second pass in your near future.

Good deal Simon, thanks for the input. Both our DA's are awful compared to what those east coast boys get.

didn't catch that the first time. how much does you bud weigh? 150-200 lbs?

that 12.5 is even more impressive with you lugging his behind around as well.

Your car was like a rocket out the hole against the SRT-8. For such a "little" blower the M90 really woke your car up
