Hi, I have been looking at new Mustang GTs. I noticed most new GTs have a leather wrapped shift *** the same as my 2008 GT. Every once in awhile a notice a new GT with a really nice looking metal shift ***. How do you order that shifter or does it accompany a specific package ordered? Is it just a shift *** or is it a performance short throw shifter? Like I said I see these once in awhile in brand new GTs that still have the plastic over everything so I'm sure they are factory installed. Thanks in advance for any info.

2011 Mustang GT Shift ****
Hey guys,

So I just learned that a 2011 Mustang GT (all GTs are Premium in Canada) doesn't come with the nice aluminum shift **** shown in pic below unless you get the $500 Premier Trim package (which adds the stripe to the seat, the pony door badge etc):



Instead the stock one is:

Never2mucHP

It's just a ****. It's nice and looks great....



... Just be careful not to grab the damn thing in when you first get in the car in the middle of summer, unless you want the gear pattern seared into your hand.
