I'd be happy to help. Based on tons of threads on aftermarket TB's, my recommendation is DON'T. First, unless you're FI or planning on going FI, the stock TB flows as well as the engine can take (even low end FI setups don't need a larger TB). An aftermarket TB won't gain you any performance despite the BS advertising. Second, they're frought with installation and driveability issues. I'd research it a good bit before I'd turn a wrench.

Tell your friend to install it into an ebay auction. Not a good mod for a N/A engine and definitely more trouble than it's worth.

My advise on installing BBK is as Nukes. DON'T, its a pile of crap... I however differ from most here and say even if you're staying N/A a throttle body makes power. Tell your friend to trade in the BBK and get a GT-500 one with a spacer to fit the 3v or an L&M. They both comes with new electronics and have no issues unlike the BBK. Sometimes cheap is not the way to go for performance.
