OK..you had me worried for a second...

I did the normal CAI, pulley, highflow plenum etc. upgrades to the Eaton 122 on my Snake, I run highflow cats and aggressive Borlas…it is pretty loud…but after experiencing 3 runs on a dyno…I am convinced not many exhausts could drown out the blower scream at 14 psi…the one thing I try to do is be in a gear close to full boost when passing…LOL...some of the looks are priceless...

Yeah I know what you mean. It's funny when the person doesn't understand what the sound is, but know's that they are losing because of it.

I have a 2010 4.0. I just removed my MRT Interceptor axle-back due to the droning, and put the stock muffler back on. The car is nice and quiet now, but it feels like I lost quite a bit of power. The MRT is basically a straight through muffler. I don't think I'm imagining the loss of power. Any thoughts?

With that said I plan to go dual exhaust when I get some extra $$.

I don't know if the V6 has a much more restrictive exhaust system, but that could be at least one reason for it. Considering that it's a straight through muffler that would be my idea. Since I know almost nothing about the V6 I can't say how much power you might of lost, but it could be psychosomatic (thinking the quieter sound is then slower). As for my car I've noticed no power lose, but when I get my dynos done I may do one with the other mufflers just to see.
