i love my JLT CAI. it makes great power. i made 299whp/312wtq with only the intake, 92 octane bamachips performance tune, cut/clamp xpipe (still have stock cats), and axle back exhaust. it was the least expensive with a tune from american muscle and in my opinion looks the best. and its great quality.

Whipple makes the best cold air intake, but it's a bit pricey.

Well I got my FRPP CAI put on last night along with my 91 octane race tune, and I have to say very nice combo. Definitely woke the car up quite a bit Since mine is an automatic, the shifting is MUCH better over stock as well, along with general throttle response. Regardless of which CAI the OP goes with, it will definitely be a worthwhile upgrade.

I agree, plus JLT if find is reasonably priced and it has good heat dissipation. Best bang for he buck. 91 race tune from Bama/AM and youre car will feel great. My rig is a daily driver and all weather and I love it and will have it for a long time

Yep, came with a couple to go through the front hole on the heat shield. Tie them around your abs lines to help keep the shield in place. No big deal mind you, but still kinda cheezy.

I have the C&L intake stuffed under the hood. I chose that one, because aluminum is more attractive to me than plastic. Its been in place for five years. No complaints.

I'm staring at my JLT/Bama tuner combo right now on my table. I've had it since Monday, and the weather hasn't gone above about 30 ever since. (And I'm in Mississippi!)

Better wx expected next week.

I got the 87 street, 93 perf. and 93 race tunes, a full tank of 93 octane, and can't decide which tune to go with first.

(Oh, I'm also looking at some Drake sequentials sitting on my table, as well.)

I'm in MS also and it'll be in the 60's beginning this Sunday and pushing into the 70's by midweek. I'll be expecting to hear results by dinner time Sunday! LOL!
