Hers is a picture the stock rims. I had them powder coated black and a yellow pin stripe hand painted on the edge to break up tire and rim area.
I have Race Line GTs with Toyo Proxes T1R tires that I use as a daily driving tire. The Race Lines have a black center and a brushed alum. edge.

Black would look ok, but anthracite with a polished lip would get my vote!

Black Wheels. Naw!

Black Wheels on a car give the impression of trying to be "Bad Bart".

They don't show off the car worth a damn.

You may as well put some regular old station wagon steel wheels on it, cause that's what they look like from a distance.

Yep..I'm 55yrs old, so give me Chrome any day and Ford did a Damn good job on the Bullet wheels to begin with.

I have clear coated alum Bullets on my car now, as it came from the factory. The upgrade would be the same 18in in Chrome.

Got 3 complements on the car just today. It speaks for itself.

I'm a fan of black wheels. I feel obligated though to warn you, since it is your wifes car, that black wheels require a lot of attention to keep clean. What style wheels are you looking at getting?
