As some of you may remember, my wife bought my '08 GT for me as a father's day gift a couple of years back. She has really gotten a kick out of my enjoyment and modification of the car, and that has added to my enjoyment as well.
Last night I told her I wanted to supercharge it, and I told her why. We discussed cost and she was ok with with it.
And then she knocked me over with a question: "couldn't you get a 2011 with about the same power you want for your '08, the cost of the supercharger, and a few thousand more? Check into it before you spend any more on modifying yours."
Eat your hearts out! My wife is the BEST!

I was on the iPad last night looking at smoked turn signals and I flipped the screen around to show my wife and she rolled her eyes. A few minutes later I flipped it around and showed her a youtube video of a Procharged 06 on the dyno. She slowly got up, went and got the laptop, sat down, and started clicking away.
Me - "What are you looking at, babe?"
Her - "Looking for a GT500."
Me - "Whaaaat?"
Her - "Yeah, because that's what we should have gotten in the first place, and we would have it if you weren't so stubborn. I'm sick of playing around with the GT when I could be playing around with it's big brother."
Me - "Well....I don't know...it's kind of...."
Her - "Just be quiet because you've picked out the last 3 new cars. It's my turn."
LOL, I guess we'll see what happens.

.........She really hated the nitrous idea and a new 2011's are just a bit out of my price range to get the options I would want especially considering I would just start modding the new one anyways lol. GT500 is the same I would most likely mod it too and not sure I like the idea of modding a GT500 but that's part of the fun to me. Either way I get what I wanted a car with 400+ whp
