Default Re-Installing Stock CMCV/Question

Returning my 07 GT back to stock for sale. Would like to remove the billet CMCV delete plates and re-install the stock plates. Other than the tune, is there anything else I should know. CMCV motor is still on the intake manifold so is it just a matter of removing the delete plates, re-installing the stock plates, and connecting the actuator arms? Want to make sure there are no "alignment" issues or hidden gremlins that others have run up against before I tackle this.

I have read that the alignment is very critical. Do some reasearch to verify this, or at the very least keep it in mind if the car doesn't run right once you install the stock plates.

Thanks jz. I have searched and couldn't find anything other than caution notes about critical alignment which causes concerns. The car is going to a family member so I don't want to create potential problems down the road. Unless I hear from others who have successfully done this I'll probably leave them on. Perhaps work w/one of the reputable tuners for a mild 87 tune - There's something I never thought I'd say.
