oh snap!
Well, in some tool kits for this, there is another tool that helps. I think Lisle has it. Look up Lisle tools, or hit up Oreillys. They should be able to help out. My Snap on set does not have this part in it unfortunetly.
Gotta give ya props for being proactive. Spark plug change 4 times? I just did them for the second time with 25K on it. I have a set of Champions, but went with one step colder motorcraft plug for my mods.

I thought this was a good article explaining the plug removal process. If you look around on the web there are videos on the extraction. Good luck

Have you been using the anti-seize on the barrel? Are you going with 1 piece plugs this time?

I agree with daredevil95...quit screwing around with the 2 piece plugs and get the one piece design.

Yeah i've always used the anti-seize, It was still on the 7 plugs that came out. But i'll be switching to the 1 piece design.

update------------- I got the lisle 65600 and it worked great, But it says that the tool will not drive the porcelain past the ground straps "but mine did!"....so i spent another 30 minutes with compressed air and vacuum to get the frags out. So i'm just warning others.
