Can anyone explain to me how the glass roof on the new 5.0s work..?

I have a 2012 Brochure..(Just dreaming at this point.) and it shows the glass roof that it opens. My question is how far does it open-they only show it cracked like 3 inches.

Seems like it cant really open all the way because there is no place for it to go, but maybe I am wrong..?

The glass roof is completely stationary, it does not open. It is basically just a tinted glass piece that is roof of the car, and it has a little roll back cover on the inside of the car.

I looked at the brochure again and it must be the screen that you can pull over it is slightly open so I thought it opened.

Yep....it's just a glass roof....I sat in a Mustang with the glass roof. Definitely cool, plus you could shut the shade and it's like a reg roof. It's worth getting.

I have the glass roof and I will say it was the best two grand that I have ever spent on a car.

I also got the glass roof... it's awesome wrapped in kick-***. I would recommend it to anybody - plus, evidence is showing that it's far more hail-resistant than a metal roof is.

This just showed up at my local dealer, 2012 shelby gt500 with a glass roof.

It's tempting...so tempting! Only if I wouldn't take such a beating on my GT's trade
