obsession
I never planned on having a stang. Now I have become a mod maniac. I traded flows for pypes. Now I am trading a 9 mm. Smith and Wesson for a Saleen hood painted AND installed, a lowering kit, and wheel spacers to widen my stance until I get my wheels. I am doing gears too. As well as 1/4 louvers. He says trimming OEM springs will keep a better ride when lowered. Is that right?

Don't cut your oem springs. Who is this "he" that says that this is a good idea? Get some good lowering springs with good quality shocks and your ride will improve. Cutting stock springs is not recommended and ride quality will suffer as cutting the spring will increase the spring rate.

Like others said, trimming your spring is voodoo science.
You will get rid of the comfy zone and they'll be tough all the time most likely.
This thing will bop up all over the place.
