Default It finally happened...

Discovered this last Tuesday morning...

over 4 years of nothing more than a few dings from rocks here and there... and someone had to go and do that.

Haven't got a quote yet, but my insurance deductible is $500.... I have a feeling it will be $499 or something like that.

Anyone know what I am looking at $$$wise? Can anyone recommend a good place to go? I live in the washington DC area.

Same happened to my 07. I found a NewTakeOff from someone on craiglist. I would try NewTakeOff.com. I know parts are more scarce now for our cars but its worth a shot. Theres an upside to this, it wasnt sheet metal! Id take a scrapped bumper over a quarter panel anyday!

Default Same thing happened to me...

...brand new black Mustang GT was 2 weeks old, parallel parked in Sonoma CA having lunch. Some numb nuts trying to park dented in the left rear fender and gouged the plastic bumper.

I took it to the same mechanic that did body repairs for the Ford dealership. He did a paintless repair to the dent in the fender so well that you cannot see it today. That cost me $225 in 2009. I still have the gouge in the bumper.

Call the cops and report a hit a run. Tell them it happened at some parking lot and that you just noticed it. Make the S H I T up obviously. They will give you an incident number and then you can take it to the dealer. Best part about this is that , it wont cost you a dime. Im dont usually pull shaddy tacticts, but when it comes to insurance companies, i have no mercy !!!!

What is that going to do...the cop is going to tell him to call his insurance company. Theres no injuries and no witnesses to anything.
