Default Tune needed?

Bought a new cut and clamp x-pipe with the idea of changing out the stock h-pipe in my 06 gt to enable my car to run more efficiently. Is a tune required after installation? A CAI is my next mod and I know a tune will be needed for that, so my ? really is, can I have the mid pipe changed now or do I wait til after the CAI and include it in the tune?.... I know another dumb *** newbie ?

But I don't understand your statement about the X-pipe "... to enable my car to run more efficiently." HOW so? A proper x-pipe may possibly gain you a few single digit (and on the LOW end of those single #'s) RWHP, if at all.
