Default New Guy

Hi,

I'm new to this forum. I just bought a 2008 Mustang Bullitt with 7500 miles on the clock and some extensive mods including a Whipple supercharger. I've owned two Mustangs in the past, an 88 GT with t-tops and an '06 GT. So I'm not new to the Mustang world but it's been a couple of years since I've had one of my very own to drive around. This one is scary fast so I'm taking it easy and treating it with respect.

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and, if there are any experts out there on the Bullitt and Whipple superchargers, I'd like to hear from you because I have a few questions.

Thanks and have a great evening.

Larry

In not an expert but I did have a Kenne Bell supercharger on my 5.0. Put it this way, after that experiance, I'll never supercharge a car unless it came from the factory with one. They're cool as can be and I love the power/sound, but the extra up keep, care, and precise tuning they require can cause headaches for a daily driver.

Whipple is a great SC, one of the best if not the best SC out there for the S197.

what questions do you have?

Welcome. Sweet! 7,500 miles. All you needed was the Factory window sticker and you wouldn't know it was used.

Congrats on a beast of a car. Make sure the tune is spot on. If you dont know the previous owner get it dyno'd just to make sure. The tune is everything in a FI car.
