Trying to buy a tuner off a MF member and just wanna know how hard it is to get tunes from American Muscle. The tuner is a sct for a '10 gt manual and i have a '05 gt auto. Ne help is greatly appreciated. Oh and the tuner was originally bought from American Muscle

 

Getting tunes isn't difficult. You can purchase the free tunes for life option on AM. I could be wrong but the tuner is the vehicle with which you load your tunes and check codes etc. through the OBD port so I don't know that you'd have any compatibility issues there. The biggest issue would be unlocking the tuner from the previous owner's stang, since I believe the tuner is only paired with one vehicle. I don't know exactly how that works( i've never done it before, but I think it involves flashing the original vehicla back to stock). I'm probably wrong about that though.
