Default S197 2007 tire pressure sensor

Can anyone offer advice on trouble shooting a "tire pressure sensor fault" code on my display..

Other than the basic "did you check the tire pressure", and the "try reprogramming it (need the programming tool), I've heard that the battery life on the sensors is about 5 years. American Muscle has the tool and replacement sensors at a reasonable price.

My F150 had a problem with the tire pressure dummy light coming on even though all four tires were properly inflated. I fixed it with a small piece of black electrical tape.

Thanks guys.... got it figured out. After reset you must drive a few miles and it's good.

I was going to say last time I had the battery disconnected, I had the same fault show up, just drive around a few miles and it will correct itself.
