Default wait for 2013?

In the market for a Mustang GT. Are things gonna change a lot in 2013 so that I should wait?? or should I pull the trigger?

I know the body is changing, at least the front. They are gong with a Cobra front fascia. I also believe you can choose from 3 levels as well. If you are looking to save a lot with discounts then wait a bit when the dealers are desperate to move the 12's to make room for the 13's. Then you can always upgrade the look later. But if you want the latest and greatest then do the 13. Just checked out stats on the 13. It's also gong to be +8 on HP. Either way I'm sure you will be happy.

personal preference...

Style vs. savings. Older model will drop a nice bit in price when they only have a few left.

So since they are making a SLIGHT change to the motor I would assume all the aftermarket stuff I've looked at will still work?
Got a few questions. Should I spring for the "premium" package? seems like that 3-4 grand would feel better under the hood. BUT I still want the hood and side scoops is it possible to get that with the base GT? or would I have to get them from AM?
Thanks guys!!

Ive bought a new car one time and I hated it. As soon as I drove it off the lot I was 10k upside down on the loan. I had it for 2 years and when I went to trade it in, I owed 7k more than the car was worth.

The nicest part about a used car is that you are getting an exact value of its worth and when you drive away with it, its still worth that much. If you put 3-5 grand down then you are ahead of the game.

Don't get me wrong I know it is a poor financial decision. And if I could find a Used 5.0 that I liked I would probably buy it. A family member of mine works at a Ford dealership and has been on the hunt for a year but so far nothing. Basically I think that it would be really cool to have a brand new car and have EXACTLY what I want.

I believe the major differences are the standard HID headlights, heat extractors on the hood, new tailights, a 4.2" "Track Apps" screen, redesigned front end, and 8 more HP.

There are some good pics of the new design at https://mustangforums.com/forum/2005...brembo-gt.html

Personally, I couldn't turn down the deal the dealer was offering on my 2012 GT. I figure it will be a while before they start offering aggressive deals on the 2013, and I am pretty impatient Plus, I can't really decide if I like the new front end or not......
