Default Tierod

Quick question I just had the oil changed in my 2009 gt at the dealer and they did the multi point inspection and found the left inner tierod was worn and needs to be replaced the car has 17000 miles and I was very suprised it wore out this quickly is this a common problem with these? Also is there a aftermarket greaseable one? Thanks in advance

Shoot, my tie rod boot has been torn for years. not sure how you managed to wear one out in 17k miles. I also live down a dirt road, so it's probably full of dirt.

Wow...at least all of those new parts were free!!! Hopefully this was just a fluke and won't happen again.
