Default 65 steering

Hopefully you all know something about this an what I need.. I have a 65 mustang coupe that was originally a 6 cylinder car manual steering. Somewhere down the road it has a 302 stuffed in it. From what I can tell it has had Granada front spindles put on with 11" front disc brakes, I am assuming it has the Granada outer tierods to fit the spindles., The old 6 cylinder inner tierods, center link ,idler arm, pitman arm are the originals I pretty sure.. My question is do I need to swap everything over to a V-8 Mustang setup? If I use all mustang V-8 set are the outer tierods ends going to match the Granada spindles? If not can I use the tierod adapters? or still be able to use the Granada outer tierod ends. Any help would be greatly helpful. thanks a bunch Bob.
I installed Granada tierod ends, the adjustment sleeve is not right, for some reason it is just threading like a sleeve instead of working like a turnbuckle. .1 screws in while the other is screwing out.???????
