07 shifter problems

07 shifter problems
Just recently purchased my 07 GT and every now & then when I shift it into reverse nothing happens, like its in neutral. After I shift it into drive or 3rd and back into reverse most of the time it takes, other times I have to shift it 2-3 times before it takes hold.... transmission shifts fine during driving........
