I just got this thing today and didn't realize it is almost a flexible rubber material. This thing doesn't cause the bumper to sag?

Not sure why, but I assumed it was a harder plastic material like the stock bumper. I was planning to use flat black bumper paint, but not sure if I'm supposed to sand this thing first?

I haven had a problem with mine sagging down. You do have to cut up your stock bumper cover though.

All ready did that. It was easy since my vertical supports were all cracked from a tree stump.




I like what this guy did, I may try something similar with adjustable support rods.
