I ordered a 2006 GT convertable last may. The dealer said my build date is september 26th. Anyone have an idea how long it takes to get to the dealer once the 26ths rolls around. Meaning, how long from the build date until the dealer sees it. The guy is telling me 4-5 weeks which seems a bit long.

Heres to hoping the rear window problem is fixed on this one.

 

It probably depends somewhat on where you live, but my build date was 8-5, and since I didnt order mine, it sat on the dealer lot for about a week before I took it home on 8-31. So mine was at the dealer about a week and a half after its build date. Hope that helps you.

 

Damn, that is lucky. I live in Utah but ordered it from a dealership in las vegas. Hoping that does not come back to bite me.
