Been a little bit, figured I'd update this thread. Well my car is officially tuned, by Lito, the results were night and day. Car pulls like an animal compared to my previous tune, and I would highly recommend his tuning services. Great response time and overall customer service. No numbers, or track times yet as I just finished logging yesterday. Once I get my tires I can get to the track.

Wideband is installed. I welded in the bung, and while I had the x pipe out I welded up the middle two connections (two less spots for possible leaks). I didn't take a picture of the a/f gauge though.

Also finally added up my numbers. So far I've pulled 108lbs off the car. While keeping full trim interior.

I removed my sub, amp and strut tower brace and that was another 56lbs. That doesn't count as reduction though.

My trunk as it sits until I figure out what I'm doing with the sound deadener/spare wheel well.

Thanks man. So am I. Shooting for low 11s with this setup and then I'll eventually build the motor. This seasons coming to an end so I will run it for the most part how it is.

Over the winter comes the rest of my suspension work, and im looking into a lightweight k member. I want to pull 150 lbs off this thing keeping the interior stock trim, if not more.

Apparently the K is good for 20lbs, and I lost 20lbs with my aluminum driveshaft. Some matching tubular A-arms and wa-lah, there's 50lbs with 3 items

You are correct. Im debating between racecraft and bmr for the k member thats 20lbs there. Havent decided on which driveshaft yet but like you said thats 20-25 lbs. I might just go with bmrs k member and A-arms, because racecrafts prices are on the higher side. idk yet though.

Have not decided what im doing with my battery yet either, but that in the trunk and skinnies up front will help my 60 foots.

That much reduction, good suspension and tires with FI you could break into the 10s with hella driving..

I want 10s bad. Im wheel/tire shopping now. Im looking at summit wheels and slicks just so i can get to the damn track before it gets to cold up here. i need to order my line locks too.

Going to re-map out my rear suspension as well over the winter. I will definitely be switching to CJ springs sooner than later.

I've been eye'ing BMR's K member and their A-arms as well but my wallet is bleeding from my current suspension purchases, so it'll have to wait..

I have a Shaftmaster 3.5" (38.8 pounds stock to 18.5 pounds), but would love to swap it out for a DSS carbon fiber unit. Maybe only 1 or 2 pounds lighter, but stronger and has a CV joint which eliminates pinion angle concerns.

You should look into 'Strange' brakes since this seems to be a drag car
