i have a UPR shifter and a JHR shifter bracket using the stock **** but its loose and its annoying when i shift, any way to fix this?

What kinda of loose is it? If it feels like it's not tightening down when you screw it down, then get some blue loctite. If it's a front to back or side to side, then you might have to find an adapter the goes inside to make a tighter fit.
