Can anyone tell me how much it costs to put your car on a dyno? I want to get a baseline of my rwhp before i do anything to my car. Also, i live just outside washington DC, can anyone recommend a good place to get on a dyno around here? Thanks guys.

$70-$110 is a about normal. A bit more if you want A/F as well.

Air / Fuel... Most shops in my area run $75.00 for three pulls (cool down between runs) and include the A/F monitoring. I do think that they charge $25.00 for a print out.

The A/F is important to the life of the engine and a means of getting some power out of the engine. Lean it out and it can cause undue engine wear and tear... probably the most dangerous thing for a modern engine. Too rich (more fuel) and the car runs bad, loss of power, mileage drops, fouls plugs that kinda thing (Others too). When adding air to the system by means such as a cold air kit or free flow filter, this means that your running a mixture with more air than the system was programmed for initially (Stock). By adusting this ratio of air to fuel, not only can you make more power... but you can do it within a reasonably safe margin.

Yep, but the shop in my town wants $150 an hour. The predator tune isn't that bad yet.
