Stripe color
Ok, I have the silver 2005 Mustang GT coupe. I wanted to do the racing stripes on it but wanted a FORD blue. I really believe once it's done it will look very SHARP. Here is a link to the colors

they said that all the purple was bought up by you??=),
anyway I think with what I'm trying to do the stripes will look nice. In my mind I see a silver mustang with the hood scoop and lower spoiler with a set of FORD Blue stripes running down them. On any other car I would say NO, but some of the 64 + where in silver with the ford blue stripe. If the color I get is what I want I wil sell them, and go with a dark gray. Anyway thanks for all the reply's.

Before you paint them on, you want to see how it looks with the vinyl stripes first . It run you 100-200 bucks but at least you can see how it looks before you go with paint. That is what I did on mine, just a suggestion.

This "What color stripes" thing comes up all the time here. I like black on silver, but I am a simple man. Navy Blue w/ silver would look really nice too, I think the Olympic blue is a little too light.

I'm going to go with black, I think the blue would look nice if the car was white, thanks everyone. Also, I've had vinyl stripes on my 02 camaro for 3 1/2 yrs and they never faded. The key is how much time your cars spends in the sun. All my cars are in the garage during the day and only see the sun driving to work, and I park in the garage also. So for anyone who has a car that sits outside all day, vinyl would be a no go.
