Hey guys ive been having a issue with my alarm going off randomly. no one around and it just goes off. Any ideas what may cause this?

My 2006 did that as well. Turned out to be the sensor for the hood. I guess after years of driving in rain and snow, and cleaning under the hood, it went bad. If I held my hand down on it the alarm chirp would go off once when I hit the button. But when I closed the hood and hit the lock it would chirp twice telling me some switch was open. I think it was only $35 for the switch.
