help with headers
I have a 08 gt 5 spd. I wanna purchase long tube headers soon but unsure ofthe best to get. I'm thinking either kooks, american racing, or hooker. Which fit better and what size should I get. Also, is it worth getting the 62mm throttle body

Do you have any other mods to complement the headers?
Do a quick search of aftermarket throttle bodies and you'll find they add nothing and are wrought with issues. I haven't seen one review on here that says they're worth anything to a car that hasn't been heavily modified first.

If you switch headers your going to want to look at doing the rest of the exhaust system too. Headers won't do much good on a stock exhaust system need the rest of the exhaust to breath.
Also going longtube headers may require a tune on the car, least it does with the 2013's. I would assume your car would too.

I know for sure that Kooks and ARH will fit very well. No idea about Hooker.
Throttle body worth it? No. You'll gain at most 10hp (and that's if you had FI), the factory unit does fine until 500hp or so.
You should definitely do a full exhaust, assuming you didn't already plan on it. I picked my midpipe first, then the headers from the same manufacturer to ensure a painless install. Of course, I was quite picky, only considering exhaust from either MAC, Bassani, BBK, JBA, Kooks, and ARH. I spent weeks (literally) researching until I found what I wanted and for the lowest price possible. It's one of those things you only want to have to replace once.
If you're replacing the exhaust yourself, don't forget to add in the cost of the tools you'll need. Depending on what you currently have, that amount could exceed $100 (with good tools, not harbor freight crap). Start spraying all the screws and nuts you will be removing today, everyday until you start the swap. Overkill, maybe, but you do not want to be stuck 10min into the job with a snapped stud on the starter like me...

FWIW, the Hookers are mild steel and will rust, ceramic coating or not. I think they're a little overpriced considering that they are just mild steel.
I just installed a set of ceramic JBA's, they fit like a glove, but part of the reason I got them was because of the great deal I found on them too. I was glad I wasn't on a particular timetable for the install either- I had a lot of trouble removing some of the original hardware (especially the dipstick tube), and had an issue with one of the bolt holes on one header being off JUST enough that the bolt wouldn't start, and had to fix that. Otherwise pretty easy overall, just time consuming.
