Default Did i buy the right gear kit?

I just bought this on American Muscle.

My car is a 2006 GT and I noticed after I ordered it that it says up to 04. So my question is do I have to call American Muscle tomorrow or will what I ordered work?

The ring and pinion will fit because it is the 8.8, but the bearing kit probably not since they list the installation kit for a specific year.

ring and pinion will fit but the rest of the kit probably not. I would call them before it ships and get the correct kit if you can.

Give my CS team a call and they can get you set up with the right kit for your 2006 GT. The Gaskets and installation items are going to be different from generation to generation! We can definitely get this switched out for you though.

Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266. I can also have one of them call you directly.
