Chambered mufflers like Flowmasters sound great with cams but longtubes will let those cams breath better and offer more of a power increase as well as great tone. If your planning on longtubes then do them first as they will really increase the exhaust volume and you may find out you dont need to change your mufflers.

oh yeah bigg gain! heres how it was told to me.
when i went up to the shop i had a convo with a parts guy and we were talking about how some cars put out more power than other example
you take 10 2008 mustang gt's all stock in my case he said 9 of them will put what they are suppost to or around give or take a little. but theres 1 that is a "freak" that will put more power than it should like significantly more. after the dyno the mechanic told me my car was a freak. i was suppost to get around 30-35 rwhp more with the cams i got 51. and as for "torque loss" with cams i cant tell a difference at all. around 3800 to 4k and up this baby moveeeesss big power gain.
i do have 4:10 gear so perhaps that could be why i dont feel a loss.
i highly recommend camming you guys cars. at idle at a light people look and stare and if you go threw a drive threw somewhere wow..... i get compliments everywhere. and i was told that frpp hot rod cams are the best overall for our cars beats out comp and detroit rocker.
