Default weird electrical issue

Hi,

I don't really know how to explain this, but I went to the track saturday and while running the 1/4 mile my brake lights came on for just a second a couple of times in all runs. Someone took a video of one run, I think the video shows it really well.

Anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

Are you familiar with the TSB for the water leak? It affects the SJB and eventually causes numerous electrical gremlins.

Yes, the SJB is dry, mine doesn't have a leak.

Your brake pedal postion switch may not be seated properly. When installed it goes through the bracket and then you turn it about an eigth of a turn and lock into place. When it locks in place there are 2 black ears that need to pop into place once its locked. Make sure that you do not press down on the brake pedal when installing the switch. If whoever originally installed the switch pressed on the pedal when they did it, the brake lights coming on is one of the results. The switch comes out the same way. Try turning it and see if you hear it lock into place.
