Default Changing Clutch Line To Braided??

I'm gonna be swapping out my clutch line for a braided line and wondering if any DOT 3 brake fluid will work?

The Manual states Motorcraft Hi Performance DOT 3 (PM-1-C / WSS-M6C62-A / WSS-M6C65-A1)

also is it true the 2011+ clutches are self bleeding that once I swap the line I just gotta pump the clutch over and over think I've heard something like 80-100 times?

As for the clutch bleeding yes, I had a new clutch assembly installed and for about 4 days, every time I stopped I had to pump it about 10 times before it would go into first. 3700 miles on new clutch and all is well.

Sorry I am no help on the line though. I did as my transmissions guy and he recommended against the steel braided for daily driving.
