Sorry if this question has been posed before. I have been seeing a few 03 & 04 stock Cobra superchargers for sale for an affordable price. I know the two engines are quite diffrent and I assume the intakes are not interchangeable. Is there an intake out there that will work with the new 05 4.6 that accepts this blower? Just wondering if anyone else has considered this. Also, I know the stock blower is not as good as the other aftermarket one out there but I can't see spending near 5g's for a supercharger.

Uh, I wouldn't even try it. With our Spanish Oak computer your tune would be so F%&$D up it wouldn't even be funny.

i'd think if you could get the plenum modified, anything can be custom tuned. probably end up costing you 5k anyway after all that dyno time

a 4V s/c on a 3v 4.6? i dont even know if it would be worth trying.

huh? i didn't know there was such a thing as a 4V blower. boost is boost or is there something i'm missing? as long as you can match the blower housing to the plenum to the manifold what difference does it make what motor the blower came off of?

i agree that it probably wouldn't be worth the effort but for completely different reasons. now if some AM vendor wants to R&D and fab up a plenum swap kit that will mate the 03/04 cobra blower to the intake manifold, this might be a worthy project.
