3.90's or 4.10's

Default 3.90's or 4.10's

which are better and why .. what will that do to my gas milage and pickup and everythign else.. don't know much about the gear ratio.. i have an auto so just lookn to figure which would be better..

i would say 3.90 if you drive it everyday. i put 3.73 in wednesday because i have TCI building a converter and didn't want to go too far with gear yet. it didn't make a huge difference so far in gas mileage and helped performance alot. wish i would have gotten 3.90.

How much green did you have to pay to have those installed.

I recently had 4.10's installed by B&M performance in Bossier City. Acceleration difference was huge, and my mileage difference was only minimal. The cost was 430.00 installed. I ran a buddy who has the E kit from rpm a week before and he dusted my a$$.. Ran him again after the gear, and it was only 1/2 a car between us. Go with the 4.10's

go with the 4.10s. you will notice very little diff at highwat speeds but the acceleration diff is huge. wait, you have an auto? go with the 3.90s. i thought it was a 5 speed.

but how much are higher are they RPM's if i put 4.10's in,,, i have a manual,
say if i take a trip to atlantic city one night or just a small road trip somewhere far and fast on the highway,, will my engine scream or what will be the diff between stock?

haha... no prob man.. just means more info for me and everybody else.. well i think i will go with 3.90 when i get some money.. hey with your C&L cai did you notice a big diff or any at all in gains? im tryn to figure if i even want to get a CAI cause well there is no carbon crap in my plumbing so well i guess im asking if i should just get teh CAI or not..
