Hey all you out there, i am a 15 and about to turn 16 and i was considering the mustang Gt, what is a good site to see all the available mods for the car? and what is your preferance on color i was thinking either black or the dark red.[8D]

Ford has a new color for the 06. Its called Tungsten Grey. I picked mine up two weeks ago and the color is great. Just got the windows tinted and the color is hot!

For your first car I'd recommend getting something you can crash without being heartbroken.

i second that! i have been racing since i was 14 but even with my experience i still wrecked my first car in a week. i had a 78 fairmont with a built 460 C4 and 9" rear. it ran 10.80's on the motor. fast car not a good choice for new drivers on the street.

Web sites won't show you jack! There are too many different parts available so go to 7-11 and pick up a few magazines- Modified Mustangs or 5.0 Mustangs... Web sites are notorious for not having the product in stock! Stick to the mags, write down the prices and then call the 800 #.
Oh, and stic=k to getting a V-6 if you're really that young. 300 HP and new drives don't mix!

One thing to keep in mund about colors...they call it "arrest me red" for a reason. Since you are going on 16, you may want to keep it a color that won't draw attention to the po po, cuz your insurance will be outrageous as it is...I'm jealous, I had to wait until I was 41.

Yeah you probably shouldn't bother with a brand new car.....look on ebay and see what they have or look in those catalogs at the gas station or newspaper to find the best deal.
