Default Brembo Package Stock Pad Life

Quick question: How much life can we expect out of the stock pads in a 2014 GT Track Pack? I have less than 3500 miles on the car. All (hard) street driving. The pads squeal like a 40 year old school bus. Is this normal?

I'm over 4000 miles away from my first maintenance appointment. Wondering if I should upgrade the pads myself or just live with the sounds.

Thanks!

I have the brembo pack, 11k miles so far and no noises, so you might have something like a rock stuck or a bad part of something in there...
Pull the wheels and check the brakes, should be able to get a decent view without taking them all the way apart... check the rotor for deep scratches too. you can do that without pulling the wheel

Yeah, already checked the rotors for gouges because exactly that happened to a Merc Mountaineer I used to have. Rotors look brand new. I'm going to pull the pads today for a visual inspection. I'll let you know what I find.

47,000 miles and front rotors and pads have lots of life in them still. Lots of stop and go traffic.

Swapped mine out at 19kish and is was unnecessary. The stock pads had plenty of life, but mine were squealing also. It was do to lack of lube. Just rolled over 33.5k and had to regrease my pads again this last weekend. This time they were lube but there was an asinine amount of gravel and baby rocks stuck in the grease on both sides?! Never been off road lol
