Source for Replacing 18 Inch Polished Al Alloy Wheels
I hit a pothole on the interstate in my 2006 GT with 18 inch wheels, part no. 6R3Z1007K which were a late year option for 2006 GTs. The two right side wheels are bent and I need to file a claim with the state dept of transportation.
Ford dealer said these have been discontinued and I will need to locate reconditioned wheels.
Can anyone recommend a site or supplier for replacement wheels? I have done some internet searchs and found a few sites but know nothing about the quality of their reconditioned wheels. Looks like prices run in the range of $225-360.

These wheels were a late 2006 option. I have not been able to find wheels online with part number ..1007K. However there are plenty of wheels that state "polished aluminum" but with part number ..1007H. This part number is associated with the 2007 model year.
Does anyone know if these are identical wheels with different part numbers due to 2006 versus 2007?

based on descriptions and pictures, it appears that the K version was a forged wheel, where the H version was probably cast, also the pics make it appear as if the area where the lug bolts attach is slightly different between the 2.
I can't vouch for tee site, but the K version appears to be available at https://www.parts.com/index.cfm?fuse...mber-6R3Z1007K
and at least you have a price for any claim, use that number and get yourself a full set of equivalent aftermarket wheels.

This gets confusing. I got under the car and found a stamp on the backside of one of the spokes: 6R3J1007EA
On an internet site I found an 18 inch alloy aluminum wheel that is said to have an "Interchange Number" of 3648, for which the Ford manufacturer Part Number is 6R3Z1007H, and the Stamp Number is 6R3J1007EA.
Another site associated the 6R3Z1007H with 2007 Mustang GTs.
