Lowering spring interchangeability
Generally speaking will a set of 4 lowering springs from a 05 Mustang GT fit an 11 Mustang GT? I believe the front struts are different an these 2 cars so that is why I am wondering.

Springs are completely interchangeable for physical fit as far as I know. It's the struts and upper strut mounts that got changed for 2011 for non-GT500 Mustangs.

I really meant to post 'struts' and 'strut mounts'. Previous post edited to suit.
I've been working on cars off and on since the time when U.S domestic cars were not strut-suspension. Sorry if it caused any confusion.

No problem. I happen to know the struts changed when we tried to put 05-09 struts on my '11 a while back. That is why I was asking if the springs would interchange. [BTW, I am old too]
