Default Hardware Question

I have a 2008 S197 and have lost the four screws that hold the Shaker 500 head unit in place.

I finally managed to determine the part number which is its own saga but the real zinger is that Ford Parts lists a pack of 10 screws at $193.00...no kidding.

It seems that these screws have been discontinued which I'm guessing is why Ford is charging what amounts to ransom money.

Has anyone else replaced these dumb little 7mm hex head screws with a (reasonably priced) aftermarket part?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Just go to lowes or home depot and match them up to any other fastener. They're
nothing special, and you can get away with a finer thread pitch if needed. They're
the same ones that hold the bezel on, and you can see the metal tabs that they
go into. Same ones that screw (tw0) into the rear of the center console... I replaced
those with Philips head screws. So, take one of those, and match it up. If you can,
take one of the clips out of the dash in with you...

Makes total sense, thanks for the solution! Don't know why I was getting wrapped around the axle over some screws. LOL
