Default Winter Storage,

Hi there. Looking for information regarding storage of a 2007 GT. Battery , ECU , PCM. If the battery is removed from the vehicle while the car is in storage, will the ECU, PCM programming be damaged? Do the need to be powered continuously? Any other considerations?

The vehicle has been stored for the winter months since new. Various battery maintenence techniques have been used, trickle charges. Still killing batteries.

The battery can be completely disconnected for extended periods of time without any issues.
These cars seem to love eating batteries due to parasitic drain; I'd definitely remove the battery while storing for the winter if I were you.

Just leave the negative battery cable disconnected while the car is in winter hibernation.

Use fuel stabilizer. Even if it’s not that long of a period. It will help combat water condensation in the fuel system.
