Although now I have to admit I'm even considering 4.30. I won't be using it as a daily driver but I still want it to drive nice on the road so I'll probably go 4.10 when I ever get my car. I'm so jealous when I see cars like RICVA05's, man that looks nice! -Joe

I would thank twice about getting 4:30's if you do much highway driving RPM'S will make you feel like you need a 6th gear. Thank you for the compliment

I didn't know yours was auto, I was thinking manual for some reason. I probably should have gone with a shorter gear but I had never had 3.73s so I though I would try them out.
Maybe when Richmond opens back up in the spring we should go show them what the 05 's can do.

Ditto to RICVA05
I have 4.10's and run about 3200 rpm at 75 mph. Not the best for highway driving. You would definitely want that elusive 6th gear with 4.30's.

ok 1.) gears do not kill your gas milage it is your right foot, 2.) higher rpms are fine for the engine and there is only a few hundred between 3.73, 4.10, and 4.30,
heres a general rule, foxes should go with 3.73s, SN-95s should go with 4.10s, 05s go with either 4.10s or 4.30s.

RE: 4:10 or 3:73s'?
Gears won't hurt your mileage? How is that possible. If you have to turn the motor more revolutions to go the same distance on the freeway how do you not burn more gas with the extra revolutions?

and you know this because you have 4.30s in your car right?

I have 4:10's in my car and I know what the engine sounds like at 70 MPH with 4:10's I could not imagine what the RPM'S would sound like with 4:30's at higher speeds. If any body want's to get them they should find somebody who already has them installed on a 05 or 06 before taking the plunge.
