Default wheel and tire fitment . also photoshop skills would help

hi im intereseted in getting saleen wheels the prevoius ones 5 star
the only ones i can find in black have a 24mm offset im told that they will stick out an inch does anyone have info on that?
also is it bad to put 24mm offset on an o5 gt

saleen offers the same wheels in chrome with a 36mm offset.. what would be the difference in look and handling. should i not go with 24mm?

and if anyone can photoshop these wheels in black on a white o5 gt that would be greatly appreciated .. thanks

Have you tried www.tirerack.com? They let you choose your vehicle and view all types of rims on it, even select your vehicle color. They may be a little limited on black rims, but I know they have a few rims in black 'cause I have been toying with it lately.

i have no photoshop skills but i do know that depending on how wide the previous saleen wheels are, they will stick out. a 24mm offset is too low for our cars, we actually have to have a offset that is close to a fwd[:@]. If you are looking for a "+" size wheel then i do recommend a 34mm or higher offset. put it this way, with my 18x8.5" Koblenz i had a 40mm offset to keep those in the fender well, they were just a little bit inside the fender, like maybe a 1/2 inch.

according to tires.com my Mustang and Maxima can use the same wheels 17 x 7.5 100/114 40s so the offset on these cars is very strange.

so what you guys are saying is dont get the saleen wheels with the 24 mm offset.

i tried tire rack and tires and all that but i really want the old saleen wheels they are just pure mustang to me. i like the way they look and tirerack or tires dont have those wheels..
and i cant seem to find them with a 36m offset but only with 24mm. anyone have 24mm on their o5?
