the airforce have some nice facilitys. did you ever use the one here at bragg? its a joke. the people that work here suck. i try to do everything in my garage on my own. the one at benning is awsome. try to find a company named fleet service. they did my driveshaft for 76 bucks. i was quoted 35 but i think the guy that sent it to them doubled the price. it took 2 days to get it back and i have no complaints. its either fleetwide or fleet service. i have been looking at headers also. i was going to wait but i cant help myself.

I have never been to Ft. Bragg, but I could imagine that it gets abused a bit!

no doubts here i did the swap right after i bought my car. it was worth .2 seconds for real. i do have an auto and did not have the converter then so maybe the more power you have the less difference it will make. i have a friend with a top/sportsman avenger and he went to an aluminum shaft and only gained .01-.02 in 60' nothing else. oh and it only lasted 25 runs (over 1000hp N/A)in his car(that is the usual life span for the prostock guys ours will last forever with only 300hp)...he put the chromemoly one back in and hasn't had any problems.
