Hey mperez, ive got a question for you. You say your mechanic does galpins work? who is that and where is he located if you dont mind me asking. As far as i knew, Galpin does their own work, but if he does do it, hes probably really good. Anyway, about your problem, you might want to consider the tokicos or any other shock and strut combo. It should really help. Now, since its only coming from one side, it may just be a defect or something wrong or else it should happen all over. The only other possibility is the alignment in which case you would probably want to do camber adj if u havent already. Good luck tho.

I don't think it's the springs. I also have an 06 gt but mine is a converitble. I am getting a rattling/clunking sound from the front pass. side whenever my foot is on the clutch when going over small road bumps. I am still trying to figure out what it is, but is sounds like the same noise that you've been hearing. I havn't touched my suspension yet, so I doubt it is your new springs, just probably a coincidence that it started after the install, Mine started around 1k miles on the odometer.

Just curious...

I just had the Eibach Pro-Kit installed and noticed the car makes a rattling type noise when going over bumps. Is this normal and should I perhaps install the matching struts and shocks (Eibach Pro-damper or similar) to stop this annoying noise? I could be omiting some additional facts that could be helpful, so ask away if you must. :-)

My car does drive the way I imagined it would though - a good thing.

I bet the nut on the endlinks are not fully tightened. Check both sides starting with the side you suspect of making the noise. It only took half a turn on my passenger side to make the noise go away. Look at the upper endlink that connects to the flange on the strut.

Skeleton - No problem answering your question. They are Earl's Automotive: http://www.earlsautomotive.com/. I say they do Galpin's work because Earl says he does AND have seen some brand new Galpin's mustangs and Saleen's when there. But who knows for sure...

In trying to get this settle, I've contacted EIBACH directly and they have stated that there was an engineering flaw on their PRO-Kit springs last year and that some are still in circulation. To find out if you have those springs, you need to get a lot # of the spring and cross-reference w/their QA. There are two sets of numbers on the springs, so get both of them. I will be doing that this Sat. and see if I have those springs installed.

Also, I posed the question assuming I don't have the "bad" springs on if there should be any noise. There SHOULD BE NO NOISE if installed correctly. Period. (The car should be alligned, and have the factory isolators put back on.) I know for a fact (cause the mechanic told me so) the isolators were not put back on nor realigned... I will be sharing this piece of information with them... :-)

Keeping my fingers crossed...

Problem was fixed. Raised it up, corrected their error (have no idea what, how), but the problem is gone. :-)

WHEN YOU SAY YOU RAISED IT UP AND CORRECTED THE ERROR, DO YOU MEAN THAT YOU TIGHTENED THE ENDLINKS UP?
I'M HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MY EIBACHS (MY NOISE IS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE). I HAV'NT ATTEMPTED TO TIGHTEN ANYTHING YET.
