I'd like to hear from those you who've installed a short throw shifter (Ford Racing, Steeda, etc). I want to keep the stock look but would like a shorter throw and better feel. Feedback, install issues?

Thanks

I used the Saleen short throw adaptor. Cost $29, reduced the throw by 30%, and works like a champ.

I bought the Hurst and love it. You can get the version that looks stock and you would never know it is there. I have the one with the chrome stick and white ball and I think it looks way better than stock. It's all personal preference, though. Good luck.

+3 - But doesn't the throw seem way shorter than 40%...LOL It's like an inch from 1-2.

I have the Hurst Shifter. Best money I've spent. You can get the one that uses the original shift **** for that stock look
