Bought my 2007 GT Vert to make my wife happy. She wanted a convertible and we are too big and too old for a Miata or Honda S2000. I wanted a Toyota Prius or a Chrysler 300C. How schizophrenic canI get? Now, I am very happy with my first American car. Handles better than a Lotus Elan! Certainly handles better than the 2004 BMW 325i I had before the Mustang, and the Mustang doesn't beat me up over the bumps either. Of course, being a Mustang it can't stay stock for long. The first thing I bought was a strut bar, and there are a lot of suspension and cosmetic mods to follow. Wait until you see the custom NACA ducts I am preparing for the hood.

Got my 07 black gt manual on March 23, 07. Took 10 weeks from the Day I ordered it, but well worth the wait. I love my car, no problems so far except some water leakage on the door sills after rain. I love doing burnouts, just have to remember to turn off my tcs. lol

Hello all. Here is my 06GT . It is my first ford, and I LOVE IT. Just wanted to post a pic, because I have a mods I am doing in the comming weeks. 12' gun metal stripes, and 20' O.Z. ultraleggera HTL wraped in BFG g-force. I will post a pic as soonas this is all done. Thanks for putting all of the great sites here for us to use. I Ordered my rims and tires fromthe tire rack, no one could beat their prices.

My brother has a '67 Coupe Legend LIME, baby and I've dreamt aboutgetting one for myselffor 20 years!!! I pulled the trigger two months ago and gotan 06 GT Tungsten Gray with all the trimmings two months ago.I am thinking about a few modifications.

First question: anyone have experience 'keeping it blue'? I am thinking about a FRPP and an x-pipe conversion for starters. Comments? alternatives?

Next move would be a new set of sneakers...I don't like the look of the stock wheels or the painted aluminum that is a Ford option. I am leaning to theFord black 18's. If you have a Tungsten gray with black rims, please respond with a picture. I want to get a look at them on a live ride if I can.

Finally I am considering upgrading the suspension. I am curious as to 'all the way around' or just lowering the rear. Looking for comments on both sides of the fence. Thx
