Default Tires & Wheels help.

I'm seeming to have a hard time selecting a tire size. I'm looking for a nice wide tire, though also looking all-season performance and a high speed rating. Problem I am running into is wheels mostly, I cannot find a wheel that doesn't look like it belongs on some Honda Civic that will fit the tires that I'm looking for. I'd like to have some Bullitt/Torq Thrust styled wheels but in order to achieve the wide tire/high speed rating all I've found is I need an 18 inch wheel, and they seem to end those styles at 17 inch. So if someone could help me out in these regards it would be appreciated!

Thanks.

2006 Mustang GT.

Remember GT 17"x8" have 6.295 backspacing. How much are you willing to send the tires outward in the wheelwell? an 8" rim with same 6.295 backspacing puts the tire outward 1" and I've see less that 6.295 so be careful. Already the stock rear kicks up debris onto the body pretty good so if you extend an 1" you may be in for mud flaps as well. So, I ask you? does the 8" rim you are looking at have correct 7.295 backspacing?

I have been looking for new 20's for my 06 GT and think I have found the ones I am looking for. They are 20 x 8.5 inch deep dish bullitt's. I was wondering what is the widest tire that'll fit this rim and not rub in the front. Any help?

Here's a link to what I'm looking at http://www.mustangtuning.com/black-2...el-20x8-5.html

I've come to the conclusion that this is the setup I want. I would really prefer a Silver bullit style, but I'll go with Chrome over a darker wheel. I don't know much about offsets and backspacing... So what is this setup going to do? I don't want the tires sticking out five feet from the wheel wells so if someone could explain to me what the back spacing and offset needs to be in order to achieve the wider tires, it'll be appreciated!

Wheels
Chrome Deep Dish Bullitt
18x9 Front
18x10 Rear

Tires
Pirelli PZero Nero M&S
255/45WR18 Front
285/40WR18 Rear
