Default Flowmaster Axle Back

Has anyone put the Flowmaster axle back on a 05 or 06 Mustang Gt? I was wondering how loud it was. I had at 96GT with on off road H-pipe with 2 chamber flowmaster mufflers which was loud enough, I wouldn't want it to be much louder.

Thanks

If you go to www.brenspeed.com and then to their sound files I think they have a file with an Off road H-pipe and Flowmasters.

I just got shipped, yesterday (Monday) the Mac SS Off-road H-pipe and the axle-back flows... I should have them installed by Monday of next week or friday of this week if they get here soon enough... If you can wait, i will be happy to post about it and even see about maybe getting a sound clip also.

I put the Flowmasters on my stock exhaust, it wasn't all noticeably louder, but it had a better deeper tone. With the off road H pipe and the Flowmasters my car is loud. My friends tell me they can hear me coming from 3 miles away, if I'm driving hard. So they sound good on stock pipes, loud on OR H pipe.

How do you like the C&L intake.

My friend is head of the Racing department at one of the ford in New Orleans and he suggested it.

Hi sphillips,

Let me know what you're interested in and I can help you. The Flowmaster axlebacks sound great and are not overpowering to the ears. The C&L kit is wonderful enhancement, especially when combined with the Diablosport predator tuner. BBK also just released their cold air intake for the '05 Mustang. Let me know what you're interested in and I will get you a custom MustangForums.com price quote. Hope to hear from you soon

Do you have to have the 24" O2 Wire Extension Harness for all H pipes?

Hi GTowner4life,

You shouldn't need them at all unless you are going with a set of long-tube headers. I hope this helps
