Hey Jim, yes it fits well and you do have to cut the stock "mouth" facia out.
Make sure you drill out the ends 1st so you don't have any shifting gaps.
I'm still actively searching for a grill insert for this type of chin spoiler.
I desperately need one to protect the SC cooler that sits down in that opening.
Here's acouple more pics...

Cheers,
Mauiboy

Hey thanks for the pics. Just in case you don't know CDC was supposed to have their new honeycomb grill(s) out last week. Well they didn't make it but I'll know the day it becomes available. I've been trying to get pics from them with no luck. One thing I like about the opening in the agressive is I get to ditch the plastic fake grill sections. With CDC about to release a new upper grill (they abandoned the billet one for the GT). I'm hoping this one looks clean like the Saleen grill. Don't know what they are doing on lights. As far as the lower grill and possibly the upper grill, if the aftermarket doesn't offer a good solution (I can ask CDC if they are planning on a matching lower grill) then I will locate an appropriate egg crate or honeycomb material and fab an upper and matching lower grill. I might be able to fab most or all myself, then get them powdercoated so there will be no chipping, maintenance etc. Honestly I could see the upper and lower with the agressive (no lights) looking pretty mean. As you can see I'm into a more simple, cleaner, (shaved) meaner body profile. The only chrome I have on the car now if you don't count the FRPP chrome bullits is the pony in the grill (and all the plastic around that I just hate so much).

Thanks again for the pics. ...helps a lot.

I'll ask CDC about a grill for the lower section.

...later, Jim

Mauiboy, a little off topic, but what hood do you have? I can't tell by the photos, but is that a CDC ducktail to? If so, could you please post a couple of pics as I am planning to have one installed on my 2006 GT.
