Did you notice any horsepower gain? I have mac axlebacks now, how much louder are we talking here?

I would like to hear how would the bassani x-pipe will sound when installed with mac axlebacks.

Its hard to say because I installed a C&L CAI and tuner at the same time.....with my job I leave my house at roughly 445am and my neighborhood is pretty quiet and with the FRPP/Borla mufflers (pretty much straight thru mufflers) it was just too loud. If I was 10 years younger, I probably wouldnt care...lol

Don't you need a retune for the x-pipe? With no cats and all that noise I would be afraid that the cops would pull me over. Also I am

Technically I dont think you need to retune it.....but I guess you could. I know that you have to turn off the rear O2 sensors though....

yes you need a new tune with the removal of the cats due to the increased air flow

I have the Mac axlebacks and the bassani catted xpipe. I just came from a Mustang club meeting today, and everyone said the sound was simply awesome (I agree). Just know that it's LOUD: one of the members was on the interstate ahead of me, and his wife, reading in the passenger seat, heard me coming from behind!!!

No, just with the Mac's alone. Tell you what, I'll pull it out of the garage to wipe it down from yesterday's excursion, then take a buzz around the neighborhood. No wide open throttle, obviously, but you'll get a sense. Check back later tonight.
